Welcome to Kenosis ("Kenosis", "we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. Because Kenosis involves private spiritual journaling, prayer inputs, and AI-assisted pastoral conversations, we treat your data with the highest level of security and care.

2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register for the App, including your display name, email address, password, and profile data. We also collect the data you input into the app, such as daily check-ins, prayer requests, journal entries, habit progress, and chat history within the Study and Heal features.

3. How We Use Google Gemini / Vertex AI (AI Features)
Kenosis utilizes third-party artificial intelligence (Google Gemini / Google Vertex AI) to provide customized spiritual insights, devotional content, and conversational support. When you interact with the AI features, the relevant context (such as your current journal entry or chat message) is securely transmitted to Google's API to generate a response. Google does not use our API data to train their public models. AI responses are generated for spiritual encouragement only and are not professional advice.

4. Data Security and Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure (PostgreSQL). We implement Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure that your private journal entries, habits, and conversations can only be accessed by your authenticated account. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Account Deletion and Your Rights
You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from the in-app Settings menu or by contacting us. Upon deletion, all your journal entries, habits, chat history, and profile information will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days.

6. Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies and similar technologies necessary for authentication and core app functionality. We do not use advertising trackers.

7. Children's Privacy
Kenosis is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
